Two Men Arrested on Suspicion of Murder After 21-Year-Old Killed in Deptford

A man has been charged in connection with the fatal stabbing of Robert Robinson in Deptford. The incident occurred on Carteret Way, SE8, on June 6.

Dalziell Wedderburn, 44 one of two individuals arrested shortly after the incident. He now faces a murder charge, with his court appearance scheduled for Monday, June 10, at Bromley Magistrates’ Court.

The second person taken into custody, a 50-year-old man, has been released on bail pending further investigation. The Metropolitan Police’s homicide unit continues to probe the case, urging anyone with relevant information to contact them at 101 or via the MetCC quoting CAD8733/6June.
