The man who tragically lost his life in a stabbing incident in South Harrow yesterday (Monday, September 26) has been identified and pictured for the first time.

Robert Weston, aged 37, was fatally stabbed on Hamilton Crescent, prompting a swift response from emergency services. Despite the efforts of police and paramedics to save him, Weston succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

A murder investigation has been initiated, with detectives appealing for any information that could assist in their inquiries. Additionally, they are urging the public to come forward with any dashcam footage that may have captured crucial details of the incident.

Superintendent Matt Cray expressed condolences to Weston’s family and loved ones, emphasizing the gravity of the situation. He assured the community that there is no perceived wider risk to safety in Harrow but acknowledged the profound impact such incidents have on residents’ sense of security. As a response, enhanced patrols will be conducted in the area to address any concerns.

DCI Neil John provided further details, stating that the assault is believed to have occurred inside a residence. Enquiries are ongoing to ascertain the circumstances leading to Weston’s tragic death. Any individuals who were in the vicinity of Hamilton Crescent or the Kingsway between 1.45pm and 2.15pmon Monday, February 26, are urged to come forward with any potentially relevant dashcam footage.

The authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward promptly, emphasizing the importance of cooperation in their investigation.
