The incident occurred on Harrow Manorway and the ambulance service received a call at 2:08 pm on July 18. In response, they dispatched an ambulance crew, a fast response car with a medic, an incident response officer, and a clinical team manager to the scene.
The victim, a man, received treatment at the scene for injuries to his hand and leg. He was then transported to a major trauma centre as a priority. Police have confirmed that while the victim’s condition is not considered life-threatening, the injuries sustained may be life-changing.
A search of the area was conducted, but no suspect was found. The police have initiated an investigation into the incident and are conducting further inquiries. They are appealing to any witnesses to come forward and provide information by calling 101 and quoting CAD 4139/18Jul.
