Kent Police Officers Are Continuing To Investigate Crimes Committed During A Pitch Invasion At Priestfield Stadium And Have Released New Images Of Seven People They Believe Can Help Them

Following the match between Gillingham FC and Rotherham United on Saturday 30 April 2022, a large number of supporters ran onto the field of play, with some fighting and objects being thrown.
Officers are investigating the disorder after reviewing footage from multiple sources and believing those pictured may be able to assist them.
So far, eight more people have been arrested on suspicion of public order violations, including violent disorder.

They are: • a 24-year-old man from Faversham; • a 21-year-old man from Faversham; • a 23-year-old man from Rochester; • a 27-year-old man from Tonbridge; • a 25-year-old man from Maidstone; • a 25-year-old man from Gillingham; and • a 25-year-old man from Sheppey.
Investigations are also underway into alleged offences committed by supporters from outside Kent who entered the field of play from the Rotherham section of the stadium.
