Investigators have promptly detained and charged a suspect after the property was reported stolen from vehicles in several West Kent villages
Two Teenagers Charged After Serious Assault in Sittingbourne

Between Saturday 8 and Sunday 16 June 2024, eight cars and vans were targeted in Snodland, Leybourne, Wouldham, Halling and Aylesford. Items alleged to have been stolen included bank cards, cash, tobacco and a watch.

The incidents were investigated and CCTV in the area was reviewed. On Monday 1 July, a man was arrested and taken into custody. William Quincey, of Bramley Road, Snodland was later charged by investigators from the Tonbridge Victim Based Crime Team with six counts of theft, two counts of vehicle interference plus criminal damage. He was also charged with theft at the Co-op in Peters Village, Wouldham and the BP Garage in Holborough. The 27-year-old was remanded in custody to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 2 July.
