This unusual theft occurred on Halloween night, October 31, at approximately 10 pm in a pub located on Church Street.
CCTV footage shows a man and a woman involved in the incident. The man, described as white, thin build, with short blond hair, aged between 20-25, and dressed in a black tuxedo, was seen grabbing the skeleton and running out of the pub. A woman, accompanying the man, attempted to persuade him to return the item but was unsuccessful. She is described as having a medium build, long black hair, dressed in black clothes, and also aged between 20-25.
The North Yorkshire Police have released CCTV images of the two individuals they wish to identify in connection with this theft. These images are crucial in helping the investigation progress.
