Help Identify Individuals Linked To Protest Incidents: Urgent Call For Information

Metropolitan Police counter-terrorism detectives have released images of four individuals they would like to speak to in connection with two separate alleged incidents. The police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying these individuals and are urging anyone with information to come forward.

The first appeal relates to a pro-Palestine protest that took place in Whitehall on Saturday, 14 October. Social media footage from the event shows two women wearing tops with images of paraglides. Detectives are now looking to identify a third woman who was seen on CCTV with the two individuals. This woman was holding a placard with a paraglider image attached to it. New and clearer images of the women have been released to aid the public in recognising them.

The first woman, described as dark-skinned, was wearing light brown trousers and a long-sleeved red top with a paraglider image on the back. She initially had a blue denim jacket tied around her waist and later put it on over her red top. She was also wearing a light blue medical face mask and a dark scarf or bandana around her head. Additionally, she had a dark red shoulder bag.

The second woman, with light brown skin and dark hair clipped up at the back, was wearing black leggings, black boots, and had a large black shoulder bag. She initially wore a dark hooded top with a paraglider image on the back, and later put on a light brown coat.

The third woman, seen holding the placard with the paraglider image, appears to be Afro-Caribbean and aged in her 20s to 40s. She was wearing a large green pendant, a dark scarf with a floral pattern, a red jacket, and a red scarf or bandana around her head.

The second appeal is in relation to a man seen waving a placard with the words “I fully support Hamas” during a protest on Bond Street on Saturday, 21 October. The man, with short dark hair and light skin, was wearing a dark jacket, a light top, a light stripy scarf around his neck, and light trousers or jeans.

Commander Dominic Murphy, head of the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command, emphasised the importance of identifying these individuals to assist with the ongoing investigations. He urged the individuals themselves to come forward and provide information directly to the police.

The public is urged to carefully examine the released images and report any information they may have about these individuals. Information can be reported in confidence online at gov.uk/ACT or by calling 0800 789 321.
