The collision involved multiple vehicles, including a red Honda Civic, blue BMW X5, a black Kia Sorrento, and grey Nissan Qashqai. Fortunately, only minor injuries were reported as a result of the collision.
Notably, the Honda Civic involved in the collision had been reported stolen earlier that day. The theft occurred between 7:30 am and 11 am from the car park of Lushington Garden Centre.
In connection with the incident, a 25-year-old man from Ryde has been arrested on suspicion of various offences, including taking a vehicle without consent, dangerous driving, driving without insurance, and drink driving. He remains in custody pending further investigation.
