Four Men Released After Fatal Incident at Strawberry Hill Railway Station

Four men have been released following the death of a man at Strawberry Hill railway station on Monday night. Officers responded to reports of an injured man at 11.53pm prompting a collaborative effort with colleagues from the Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service.

Upon arrival, police discovered a man in his 20s with a serious injury consistent with a stabbing. Despite the dedicated efforts of emergency responders, the young man was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 19-year-old man, a 20-year-old man, and a 15-year-old boy have been released under investigation, while a 16-year-old boy has been released on police bail.

Authorities have stepped up high visibility patrols in the area and are collaborating with the Metropolitan Police to reassure the community.

Detective Chief Inspector Sam Blackburn expressed the profound senselessness of the violence that led to the tragic loss of life. The investigation is in its early stages, and Strawberry Hill station will remain closed as authorities diligently pursue their inquiries.
