Four Men Charged In Connection With 2016 Death Of Jack Barnes

In a significant development, four men have been charged in connection with the ongoing investigation into the death of Jack Barnes in 2016. The accused individuals are Stephen Rowlands of Wearish Lane, Bolton; Brian Gartside of Lime Grove, Bury; Matthew Sellers of Heathfield Road, Bury; and Paul Fogarty of Monks Lane, Bolton.

Each of the four has been charged with a count of unlawful act manslaughter. Additionally, Stephen Rowlands faces an extra charge of attempting to pervert the course of justice.

The legal proceedings are set to unfold at Manchester Magistrates Court on 4 January 2024.
