Firefighters have been tackling a large haystack fire in the Lydden Hill area, near Dover since around 11pm on Saturday 18 March.
Firefighters Have Been Tackling A Large Haystack Fire In The Lydden Hill Area, Near Dover Since Around 11pm On Saturday 18 March.

Fire crews from Kent Fire and Rescue were called at around 11pm on Saturday 18 March.

There are currently two fire engines along with specialist equipment from the technical rescue team including a telehandler working to break up the haystack and extinguish the flames.

People in the vicinity of Lydden village are asked to close windows and doors due to a smoke plume which may affect the village.
