Family pay tribute to mum of five Lucy

The family of murdered mum Lucy Rushton pay tribute and lay flowers in her memory. The family of Lucy have gathered outside her home in Suffolk Road, Andover to lay bunches of flowers in her memory on Monday afternoon. Lucy Mum to five children was murdered and found in her home after police officers were called to a house shortly before 5.30am on Sunday 23 June. Lucys Brother has said “People keep asking if they are allowed to leave flowers for Lucy so if anyone in Andover or around want to leave flowers for her please feel free to do so outside her home as and when your ready to. Today as a family we laid ours We had our up and down but I love you so much Lucy Rushton My oldest sister was killed by her husband you will never be forgotten by us we all love you and so do your 5 Beautiful kids you are in a safe place now rest up and we will see you soon I love you big sis we will get Justice for You” Hampshire police have stated; “Lucy Rushton, also known as Lucy Dyson, 30, of Suffolk Road, Andover, was found inside and was later pronounced dead. Her next of kin have been informed and are currently being supported by specialist officers. A post mortem examination concluded that she died as a result of multiple injuries. A 28-year-old man from Andover has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody. Our officers will remain in the Suffolk Road area in the coming days so we would urge members of the community to speak to them if they have any concerns.
