Emergency services were called to Long Hill Road in Bromley this evening following reports of a stabbing. The incident has prompted a significant response, including the deployment of the London Air Ambulance, which landed near Whitefoot Lane in the nearby memorial park.

Details regarding the number of individuals involved remain unclear at this time. However, eyewitnesses reported seeing paramedics and police rushing to the scene as the air ambulance touched down to provide urgent medical assistance.
One local resident described the commotion, saying, “There were sirens everywhere, and then we saw the helicopter land in the park. It was clear something serious had happened.”

Medical professionals from the air ambulance, including specialist doctors, have been attending to at least one person suffering from stab wounds. The condition of the victim remains unknown.

Police have cordoned off the area around Long Hill Road as they carry out their investigation.

Officers are speaking with witnesses and working to establish the circumstances leading up to the incident.

A Spokesman for Met Police Said: Police were called at approximately 18:40hrs on Friday, 4 April to reports of a fight in Longhill Road, SE6. Officers and London Ambulance Service attended. A man was found with a stab injury – he was taken to hospital for treatment. At this early stage his injury is not thought to be life threatening. One man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of GBH.
A crime scene remains in place and enquiries into the circumstances continue.
