Emergency Services Respond to concerns for Welfare on Culver Down Cliffs on the Isle of Wight

Emergency teams were scrambled to Culver down cliffs just after 1.15pm on Wednesday. The responce was sparked following a call from a concerned family member about a woman who texted and said she was in a distressed state on top of the cliff. Police officers from Hampshire and the Isle of Wight Police attended and worked with Partners from Isle of Wight Ambulance service and members of the HM Coastguard Search and Rescue team to quickly resolved the incident. The woman was located has been left in the care of the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service. Members of the Emergency services have not left the location.
