Detectives Looking Into A String Of Drug-related Burglaries Are Asking For Any Additional Victims To Come Forward

In Brentford, Hampton, Hounslow, and Bromley, there have been four reported burglaries in which the suspects are suspected of administering a noxious substance in order to commit thefts.
The incidents are said to have occurred between Saturday, December 31, 2022 and Monday, January 9, 2023.
The substance knocked the victims unconscious, and when they awoke, several of their personal belongings were gone.
Each victim suffered no long-term consequences and is cooperating with investigators.
Working together or separately on occasion, the two suspects identified their victims on Grindr.
They are described as a large black male and a slimmer, tanned white male, both of whom speak Spanish and are believed to have fled the country.
We believe other victims may have been targeted between the New Year period and the 9th January, but may not have wanted to report it for personal reasons,” Detective Superintendent Dan O’Sullivan said. If you have been a victim, you can report it anonymously to us or speak with a member of the LGBTQ+ community. Despite the fact that the suspects have fled the country and the risk to the community has decreased, we are continuing to work with our partners and LGBT Independent advisory groups.
Please call 101 and reference Operation Cavendish if you have been a victim or have information that can help the investigation.”
