Detectives Investigating A Serious Assault On A Bus Passenger Have Charged A Man With Attempted Murder

On Friday, 3 March, detectives from the Met’s Roads and Transport Policing Command arrested a 20-year-old man in Lambeth in connection with an assault on board the route 94 bus in Oxford Street, W1.

The assault, which happened at about 10.15pm on Tuesday, 28 February, resulted in a 25-year-old man receiving a serious head injury. He remains in hospital in a critical condition.

The arrested man, Oscar Castano-Colque, 20, of Woodfarrs Road, SE5, was charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon. He will appear in custody at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 4 March.
