Deceased Man found in Wootton

Hampshire Constabulary were called to the discovery of a body in Wootton on the Isle of Wight over the Bank Holiday. Police-descended on the scene in the vicinity of Harwoods Garage on High Street at just before 06:00am on Monday morning. A cordon was thrown up by Police but later lifted. The Isle of Wight Ambulance Service were also called to the scene but the man was pronounced dead at the scene. A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary has said: “Officers were called to a premises in the High Street, Wootton, at around 5.55am on Monday, May 6. “The body of a man in his 50s was found at the premises. The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the Coroner”. ARTICL
