Car in Collision with a Blue Star Bus in Shirley Southampton
CAR IN COLLISON WITH A . BUS ON SHIRLEY ROAD IN A Collision between a car and a bus has left 14 passengers trapped on a Bluestar bus and busy Southampton road blocked. The collision happened just before 11.45am on Wednesday morning between the Hyundai and a double decker bus. The smash took on the junction of Cawte Road and Shirley Road. The driver of the bus is understood to have escaped injury. Fire crews from Redbridge and St Mary’s Fire stations attended along with Paramedics from South Central ambulance service. Two people have been treated the scene by Paramedics and taken to Southampton General Hospital for further treatment. The Road remains closed to aid recovery and a clean up operation and to free the remaining trapped passengers
