CCTV Appeal After Woman Allegedly Kisses Children in Canterbury Pharmacy

 

Police have released a CCTV image as part of an investigation into a disturbing incident at a Boots Pharmacy in Gravel Walk, Canterbury, where a woman reportedly made inappropriate physical contact with two children.

Incident Details

The incident took place at around 4:30pm on Friday, 20 June 2025, when a mother and her children were approached by an unknown woman inside the store. According to the report, the woman kissed both children on the face without consent.

The mother reported the behaviour to Kent Police, who launched an investigation and have since reviewed CCTV footage from the premises.

Appeal for Identification

Officers have now released an image of a woman and a man they wish to identify and speak with in connection with the incident. Police believe the pair may be able to assist with enquiries.

A Kent Police spokesperson said:

“This is understandably a concerning report, and we are appealing to the public for help identifying the individuals captured on CCTV. We are also keen to hear from any witnesses who may have seen the incident or who have further information that could assist our investigation.”
