Several cases were heard at Bromley and Bexley Magistrates’ Courts on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, involving individuals from various areas facing charges ranging from theft to possession of weapons.
Charles Vincent, aged 33, from Colyers Lane in Erith, admitted to stealing £95 worth of meat from Co-op on Westhorne Avenue, Eltham, on April 29. However, a warrant has been issued for Vincent’s arrest as he failed to answer bail.
In another case, Bikas Lama, aged 40, from Ancona Road in Plumstead, pleaded guilty to possessing a kitchen knife in public on Eglington Hill, Plumstead, on November 16. Lama was sentenced to a one-year community order.
Camille Hedges, aged 46, from Glendale Road in Erith, admitted to stealing two bottles of Vodka and a bottle of wine from Sainsbury’s in Bexleyheath on May 10. Hedges was also given a one-year community order.
Lastly, Matthew Wright, aged 31, from Broadwater Gardens in Orpington, was found guilty of racially or religiously aggravated intentional harassment, alarm, or distress in Sidcup on September 10. Similar to Charles Vincent, a warrant has been issued for Wright’s arrest as he failed to answer bail.
