Baby rushed to hospital after being mauled by a dog in Waterlooville

A baby that has been bitten by a Staffordshire Bull Terrier has been rushed to hospital following an attack in Tennyson Cresent in Waterlooville. Police and Paramedics were called just after 4.30pm on Tuesday afternoon. The 18-month-old is not thought to have suffered life-changing injuries Officers from Hampshire Constabulary have launched an investigation to establish the exact circumstances A spokesman for South Central Ambulance Service said: Police contacted them informing them a child had been attacked by a neighbour’s dog in Tennyson Crescent we sent an ambulance with paramedics to the scene who treated injuries to the child’s hands. The child has since been transported to QA Hospital in Cosham for further treatment.
