Police were called to Parish Lane, Penge at 7.24pm on Wednesday 19 April following reports that a member of the public had seen a man with a gun.

Due to the nature of the incident, armed officers attended.

A search of the area was found but no suspect or victim was found at the scene or nearby. 

Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.
