Andover Man’s Identity Released as Investigation into His Death Continues – UKNIP

The name of the man who tragically died in Andover has now been released by authorities. Stuart Crocker, a 62-year-old resident of New Street in Andover, was discovered by paramedics at his home on Wednesday, June 28.

Today, Stuart’s family has chosen to release a photograph of him along with a heartfelt tribute. In their statement, they expressed shock and sadness over his untimely passing. They emphasized that Stuart lived life on his own terms and that no one had the right to take that away from him. The family hopes that he may rest in peace during this difficult time.

Specialist officers are currently providing support to Stuart’s family as they come to terms with their loss.

In connection with the investigation, a 36-year-old woman from Andover was arrested in Birmingham on suspicion of murder. A 27-hour warrant of further detention was granted on July 2, allowing officers additional time to conduct their investigation. The woman remains in custody at this time. Additionally, a 43-year-old man from Aldridge has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. He has since been released on police bail pending further inquiries.

Detective Chief Inspector Rod Kenny acknowledged that Stuart’s death has undoubtedly come as a shock to the community and those who knew him. He urged anyone with information, especially those who were acquainted with Stuart, to come forward and share any relevant details that may aid the investigation.
