Officers attended following reports of a man behaving inappropriately towards women in Biggin Street at 4.30pm on Saturday 22 June 2024.

Following enquiries at the scene, a man was arrested in Pencester Road shortly before 5pm.

Jasur Islomov, of no fixed address, has since been charged with two counts of sexual assault and a public order offence.

The 30-year-old appeared before Margate Magistrates’ Court on Monday 24 June and was remanded in custody to appear at the same court on Friday 28 June.
