A Suspect Has Been Charged By Detectives Investigating A Burglary At A Student Residence

On Monday, December 19, 2022, a break-in was reported at a ground-floor flat in Bullivant Street, St Ann’s.

A window was smashed, and an inside laptop was stolen.

Joseph Healy, 40, was charged with burglary.

Healy, of Lawson Street, was remanded in custody after appearing in Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Monday (16 January).

He is scheduled to appear in Nottingham Crown Court on February 13th.

We treat all reports of burglary with the utmost seriousness because we understand how upsetting it is to fall victim to such a crime,” said Detective Constable Louise Turton of Nottinghamshire Police.

“The public can be assured that reports will be thoroughly investigated, and we will always do everything possible to bring suspects before the court as soon as possible.”
