A CCTV image has been released by officers investigating a reported assault in Canterbury

Kent Police was called to a shop in the city’s High Street shortly before 5pm on Saturday 8 June 2024 following a report a shop worker had been assaulted.

Officers attended and the victim was taken to hospital for treatment.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing and police have released a CCTV image of a man who may be able to assist enquiries.

Anyone with information, or who recognises the man, is urged to call Kent Police on 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/94539/24.
