Fire crews could be seen attempting to stop the spread of the inferno that looked like something out of the Bunsfield Oil Fire. At some points in the evening the flames shot 30 foot up in the air. Crews’ efforts were also hampered due to the low pressure water supply in the area. Seven water carriers were called on and are now working in relay bringing water to the scene. A Hazardous Area Response Team from South East coast Ambulance has been on standby throughout the night at the incident.
