Forensics Tents and Ongoing Investigation

Two forensic tents remain in place outside the pub, as investigators from the Met Police Roads and Transport Policing Command (Chadwell Heath) examine the scene.

Photos taken by eyewitnesses show severe front-end damage to the vehicle, with debris and shattered glass across the pavement. The pub’s frontage has sustained structural damage.

Witnesses Woken by Impact

Residents reported being woken by a “huge bang” followed by screaming and emergency sirens.

“It was terrifying. The impact shook the whole block. I ran outside and saw the car wedged in the building,” one local said.

The road remains partially closed as specialist teams continue forensic work and safety assessments.
