Police issue further E-fit issued following serious assault at Riverside Park

Police have released a further E-fit following an assault at Riverside Park on Manor Farm Road that occurred 8pm on Thursday, April 7 which resulted in a 12-year-old boy suffering serious injuries. The boy was playing football with friends in the park when another teenage boy assaulted the 12-year-old causing him to become unconscious. The boy was later treated in hospital for a broken jaw. We previously appealed for witnesses the day after the incident and first released an E-fit on Tuesday, April 19 with the help of a young witness. We have been working closely with another young witness who has helped us produce this further E-fit to assist us with our enquiries. The teenage boy we are looking to trace is described as: White Approximately 15-years-old Glasses European accent Do you recognise him? Detective Constable Claire Ratcliffe from the Western Investigations Team said: “I would like to thank these young witnesses for helping us with our enquiries to produce these images. “We hope some one will recognise the teenage boy in this most recent E-fit. “Did you witness this incident or have you seen some one matching this description in the Riverside Park area?
