Police are appealing for witnesses after a robbery and serious assault in a Newhaven car park left two people injured. At around 4.40pm on Sunday, 31 August, a 24-year-old woman and a 17-year-old boy were walking through the Dacre Road car park when they were approached by a blue Renault Clio.
Three suspects – two women and a man – exited the vehicle and attacked the victims. The boy’s mobile phone and cash belonging to the woman were stolen before the suspects fled the scene in the car. Victims Treated by Paramedics

Arrests Made

“This was a nasty attack, which we believe was targeted. We’re carrying out a number of enquiries and encourage anyone who witnessed the incident or who has relevant information, such as CCTV or mobile footage, to report it to us.”
