Dagenham A1112 Rainham Road South Closed After Serious Crash – UKNIP

A serious crash has closed the A1112 Rainham Road South in both directions between Crown Street and Sandown Avenue. Long delays are reported in the area, with congestion building and diversions in place.

Emergency Services Respond

A spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service stated: “We were called at 5.40am today (10 September) to reports of a road traffic collision in Rainham Road South, england/dagenham/”>Dagenham. We sent two ambulance crews and a paramedic in a fast response car to the scene. We treated a patient at the scene and took him to a major trauma centre as a priority. We checked Overover two other patients and discharged them at the scene.”

Injuries Reported

London Fire Brigade provided emergency care to a pedestrian and treated two other individuals at the scene before transferring all patients to the London Ambulance Service.

Incident Details

The Fire Brigade reported being called at 5.46am to the collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian. Firefighters encountered the crash while returning to the station from another incident.

Road Closure Update

As of 9:24am, Rainham Road remains closed between Bull Roundabout and Reede Road due to the police incident. Motorists are advised to avoid the area where possible and to check back for updates.
