Wherstead Road Incident Ipswich

A 25-year-old man from Ipswich who was arrested following an incident in the town in February will face no further action. Police were called at 5.30am on Sunday 25 February following a concern for safety of a woman in her 20s from the town, who was reportedly being held against her will at an address on Wherstead Road. Armed officers attended the scene and a man was arrested on suspicion of kidnap. He will now face no further action in relation to this incident.
