Man Seriously Assaulted in Road Rage attack in Nursling Southampton

Police Appeal for witnesses made after man assaulted in Nursling Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault in Station Road, Nursling, which left a 30-year-old man with serious injuries. The attack took place between 3.45pm and 4.05pm on Wednesday, May 4. The victim, a 30-year-old man, was driving a Raymond Brown HGV lorry when he was involved in an altercation with the drivers of a black Mercedes saloon car and a silver Vauxhall Corsa car. The victim was then found lying unconscious in the road. He was taken to Southampton General Hospital where he is receiving treatment for serious but not life threatening head and face injuries. The drivers of the cars are described as two white men, aged in their late teens to early 20s, and between 5ft 8ins and 6ft tall. It is believed other drivers were in the Station Road area at this time. Officers are appealing for anyone who saw what happened, or who saw a black Mercedes saloon vehicle or silver Vauxhall Corsa in the area, to come forward.
