Authorities Seek Public Assistance in Locating John Wickens, Escaped Prisoner – UKNIP

Authorities are seeking public assistance in locating John Wickens, aged 34, who absconded from Hollesley Bay prison. The police received a report just before 4am on Friday that Wickens was last seen at approximately 9pm on Thursday at the prison.

Described as having short brown hair, blue eyes, and a slim build, Wickens was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt, denim shorts, and full-length black leggings underneath. He is serving a six-month sentence for burglary and theft from a shop.

Wickens has distinguishing features, including a scar on his left arm and a scar on the right side of his face. He also has several tattoos, with one on his right hand stating ‘Mummy, Bob, Nicky’, another on his right-hand wrist saying ‘Mummy Daddy’, and a Celtic band tattoo on his right-hand wrist.

The authorities are urging anyone with information regarding his whereabouts or who may have seen a man matching the provided description to come forward and contact Suffolk police immediately. The reference number to quote while reporting is 37/45278/23.
